The Nigerian Governors Forum converged at the
Presidential Villa yesterday to meet with
President Muhammadu Buhari as the economic
crisis in the country has led to some states been
unable to pay their workers’ salary.

The President, who expressed shock at the inability
of some states to pay their workers’ allowance
despite bailout funds from the Federal
Government, assured the state governors that he
would make sure that the affected state
government receive financial assistance.
