Photos: Angry youths in Delta destroy property in a church owned by a pastor accused of sleeping with married women

Angry youths in Jesse community near Sapele in
Delta state yesterday destroyed the property in
the Mountain Of Prayers Ministry, a church
located along the Jesse Sapele road after alleging
that the pastor of the church simply identified as
Bishop Emma, was sleeping with married women in
the community.
According to Facebook user, Comr Blessing
Akamugbe who shared the photos on Facebook,
trouble started after it was discovered that the
accused pastor committed adultery with the wife
of a former member of his church, Chief Austine
Omonode who is the President General of Idjerhe
Clan Development Union (ICDU).
12 members of the church were injured during
the chaos.
Some other residents in the community believe
that the attack had a political undertone as the
accused pastor is contesting for a political office
and that his attack and accusation might have
been staged by his political rivals.
The matter has been reported to the police who
are carrying out their investigations.
