Discovery for Recovery seeks to empower less privilege girls in your area

We have all heard the story of Olajumoke, the bread seller who stole our hearts and became one of the major headliners of 2016. Here is an opportunity to help discover and empower someone with a similar background in your area through a new charitable platform, Discovery for Recovery.

Discovery for Recovery is a project aimed at discovering ‘diamonds in the rough’. It provides a platform to discover young ladies who are currently in less privileged situations and backgrounds but possess hidden beauty potentials. The project focuses on Beauty Talents between ages 18 and 26,  5:7" and above, size 6- 10 who will be empowered and groomed by professionals and eventually set up to support themselves.

To participate, you can nominate that girl in your area that fits these requirements by sending a picture of her. The picture has to show her in her current state, that is; if she is a petty trader, a sales girl or a hawker, you take her picture in that moment and send it along with her background story. You can send this picture and story to www.xqwizitevents.com.ng  and also follow the progress of the project and garner votes for your candidate to get her a chance to win N200,000 seed investment for her business idea.

With this, Miss Adejoke Adegun, the founder of Discovery for Recovery who is also the CEO of Xqwizit Events said “I reason that there are many young ladies in poor conditions with a lot of potential among us. They just need to be discovered” She is asking the general public to nominate anyone in their area who can benefit from this project.

People are already nominating people, so help people around your area.

Some partners supporting the project are; Society For Family Health (SFH), Ezmoov Taxi, Tirta-ayu Exclusive Prestigious Spa, Lala's Grill, 1407 STYLE, Luxe Pad, A.I Sina photography, Kristal media,  Sparklett Water,  Karrera Shoes, Power Horse (Charvet ), Centre For Values In Leadership (CVL), Orbit Imagery, Lagos business school, Bimms24, Lady Mechanic, Island Breeze Ventures, Omobaba and a host of others.
